LIGHT WRITING

Light writing - is an emerging form of stop motion animation wherein still images captured using the technique known as light painting or light drawing are put in sequence thereby creating the optical illusion of movement for the viewer. /definition/

In the last two lessons I had been introduced with amazing way to create incredible images at night.

Basically anyone with a nice camera that has adjustable expose can do this.

All what need is a dark area - night is the best and flashlights. Shutter speed need to be set about 15 sec or longer (Bulb) and your f-stop  around 5.6. it`s depends of light source around.

This is a really fun thing to do with a couple people if not need to bee sure to have shutter on the timer or remote setting.

I`ll bee honest I never  thought something like this is possible till I went out and try.  Takes some practice to get what you want right, but still is so surprising what you can do.

The best thing is get a whole collection of lights -  different colors, sizes, wattage's and try then. 

There are some of my images...far from professionals, but considering that is my first that kind....is not bad..is it?!

 

 

 

For these I went outside of my college, with help of my friend to get some practice. I used a simple flashlights. Its not really creative, but I will improve this technique for future definitely.  

 

 

These two images I made at home indoor environment using for first my kids toy lights and second, what is my favorite, candles.

I did some research and find some fantastic works which leave a great impression to me...I will try to do the same when I`ll have more time to explore new possibility's.

PICTURE STORY TASK

For this task I had to produce at least 5 images to tell a story, which should be considering fallowing:

1. Establishing Shot
2. Detail
3. Relationship
4. Outcome
5. Conclusion

I had some ideas, but it was a half term, so my children was out of school too, which is not best option if you want to create something interesting.
As I was tied to the house I decided  to do some story's about my children...but unfortunately that was bad idea....so I go for a more easy option and choose to do story about my children`s favorite toys.

When I looked at the picture...it seem to me no really what I wonted...so I decide to transform my story in time...to make it look more special and romantic. After, when I finished my shoots, I look for a help of my camera menu to archive desirable result...I selected RETOUCH MENU and change all my pictures to SEPIA mode, also I added soft feel to it with FILTER EFFECTS.

I know is look a bit silly, but I liked anyway....relationships between two dolls, who are left alone during the day...waiting for a bedtime when the rightful owners will cuddle them to sleep  ....we all inside a little bit of children and we going old not because we grow up, but because, we stop to play.....
