Homework Nr. 4 EXPOSURE

I was set to do a series of pictures using different aperture and shutter speeds to see how it works.

Like always I in this time of a year I was struggling with weather conditions and light.

I left house in the morning to look for appropriate place, which I found by canal.

Using a tripod to keep my camera still I take a lots of images using different settings, till I get right - normal exposure. I have to say it take a time.

Some examples:

Underexposure

1/100  F 5.6

1/60 F 5.6

1/2 F 22

1/6  F11

Normal Exposure

1/2.5 F 18

Overexposure

1/3 F 8

 5 F 22

 1/2 F 8

 1/1.6  F8

Becoming more familiar with photography an image capture I find easy to set right settings if you are working in one place with one particular object. - I went to the park one day with my children, was beautiful sunny day and because I was on a move to set right aperture and shutter speed was very difficult. Shadows from a trees or bright sunny spells through them make me change settings all the time.
Although I manage to take some nice pictures it was very hard.
